Every Friday I work at the same clinic I started at upon graduating PA school in 2011. I took a 3 year break while having kids (and moving to New Jersey for some reason), but I've worked for over 11 years at this one clinic.
With only 50 days until our flights, and less than 40 days until my last day of work, every Friday has become a day filled with goodbyes.
I have cared for some of my patients since I first started working at the clinic. Many others, I've cared for since 2017. These patients have seen me develop as a clinician and as a person too. A lot of them remember when I had my first baby.
Saying goodbye to so many people has been really hard.
